Hey everyone!
I'm excited to share that the "Just Keep Swimming" acrylic on canvas has been featured in a digital art collection curated by Boston Children’s Hospital for their Heart Center. It will be displayed on a monitor, bringing joy and inspiration to patients and families during their visits.
As an artist, nothing is more rewarding than knowing my work can make a difference in someone’s day, especially in a healing environment like a hospital. It’s a reminder of the power of art to uplift and connect us, even in challenging times.

When I had chicken pox, I remember feeling pretty miserable, stuck in my room. My mom brought me sewing cards and coloring books, and they truly helped me escape into a world of creativity! Art became my joyful distraction and an excellent way to process my feelings.
I want to do more with my art in those spaces. To make this experience even more unique, I’d love to propose a fun and uplifting program that provides coloring pages and crayons for the kids. It would be as simple as creating a little sign about the project with a QR code linking to a free printable coloring page of one of my turtles from the collection. The administration could provide the crayons and coloring pages on-site as well. (please note this is just an idea - I am still thinking through the logistics and fundraising, but I like to work on ideas out loud and am open to collaborating with people who could make this happen)
Imagine giving these incredible kids the chance to unleash their creativity through a virtual art show! I could create a dedicated page on my website to showcase their colorful creations from their hospital beds. How amazing would it be for them to see their artwork published online? Even better, I could lead virtual workshops to interact with the kids, helping them color and draw whenever they feel inspired!
Art-making is a beautiful way to heal a heart, and this initiative could bring smiles and comfort to the children during their recovery. 🫶
